Custom Error Pages in Hosting
When you buy a hosting plan from us, you shall be able to set custom error pages for your websites easily, because this feature is part of all our solutions. The moment you have created the files and uploaded them to your hosting account, you should check out the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia CP and click on the Edit button for the particular domain or subdomain. In the pop-up which will show up, you will see drop-down menus for all 4 sorts of errors and for each of them you could choose an Apache default page, a generic page from our system or a custom page. Should you pick the 3rd option, you should simply enter the URL to the file that you have uploaded and save the change. Another way to set custom error pages is to create an .htaccess file in the domain or subdomain folder and to add a few lines of code in it. If you don't have previous experience or if you're simply not sure how to do that, you could simply copy/paste the code from our Knowledge Base article on that topic.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Servers
When you host your websites in a semi-dedicated server account from our company, you could set custom error pages for each of them effortlessly via our in-house built Hepsia hosting CP. With just several clicks in the Hosted Domains section, you are able to modify the default setting from a system page to a custom made one for any of the 4 error types. All you have to do is provide a link to each file that you've uploaded before that and then save the change. If necessary, you shall be able to revert this customization whenever you want and in exactly the same way. If you'd like, you may use an .htaccess file as well. It should be created/uploaded within the domain or subdomain folder linked to the website whose error pages you would want to change and the content for such a file can be found in our Help article on this matter.
